"Kiri
and Kim"
Kiri and Kim
were sisters from Kala's (Tembiwe Nyoni)
and our first litter. Kim the extravert loved showing and was a pleasure
to show. She did very well in her show career gaining 1 CC, with
Best of Breed, and 5 RCC's. Kiri a more reserved character didn't
enjoy the show scene very much and was happiest at home!
Kim's awards
include the Bitch CC and Best of Breed at the Southern Rhodesian
Ridgeback Association's Championship Show in 1995, 5 RCC's and 7 Best
Puppy Awards, including Best Puppy in Show at the South Yorkshire Hound
Association's Open Show in 1991.
From Kim's first
litter came Kubi (KweKwe Kasiki), who
we kept, and Ch KweKwe Kumi who is owned by Mr Bob Harden. From her
second and final litter two boys went to live in the United States of
America, one of which, KweKwe Kip, was shown with some success in his
early years.
Both girls were
lost to us within a few months and are greatly missed.
