"Bruno"

Bruno was our first Ridgeback, the devoted companion to our old Labrador girl, Honey. He was a lovely boy standing tall and proud, a picture of gentle power. While a shade over standard in height, he was otherwise typical of the breed. I was persuaded to show him despite his slightly offset crowns and am glad I did. Inspite of my very green efforts as a handler he managed to do extremely well at Open Shows picking up many first places. His finest moment in the show ring came when he took Best in Show at the Eccles & District Canine Society in March 1987. Sadly we lost our boy all too soon at only five years of age.
